  • How do you use donations to support your cause?

    All donations go directly toward the support of veterans.

  • Are donations tax-deductible, and can you provide tax receipts?

    Yes, they are tax-deductible, and we do provide receipts.

  • Do you provide updates or reports on the impact of donations?

    We provide updates through our Facebook page.

  • Do I have to be an Iowa resident to participate?

    No, Iowa Veterans Outdoor Experience is an Iowa DNR-approved organization allowing us to accept Veterans with a minimum disability rating of 30% for any of our events. We have had veterans from all across the USA including Alaska come to Iowa and Lake of the Ozarks.

  • Why do I have to put down a deposit?

    IVOE has found that putting down a fully refundable deposit helps guarantee participation. The licenses we purchase can not be returned to the State. When this happens that license/tag just goes unused. The State only has a limited number of these licenses available.
